The latest news on gregggregg turner Originally from Southern California, transplanted to Northern New Mexico in 1993, was first initiated into the pop music scene back somewhere in the 70's as a writer for Back Door Man, Creem, BAM, Spin, Rolling Stone and others too similarly sordid to mention. The Sam's produced 5 CD's (the last official release a 4-CD compilation entitled The Unboxed Set ) and developed a considerable following back in the 80's. In particular, the band had a rabid nucleus of fans in Boston, MA and Washington, DC., playing to audiences as large as 2000 over a span of 12 years (er, or was it 2000 divided over 12 years?).
